Micheal Helfen is both a Fine Arts photographer and Wedding photographer, as well as a talented painter. He has worked in the arts as a teacher for forty years, and often travels to different parts of the world for inspiration. |

Mr Helfen is a juried member of the Cape Cod Art Association, the Artisans of Cape Cod and a member of the Village Crafters. He has had numerous one man shows across the Cape. |

Micheal doesn’t like to confine himself to the single medium; each image is captured in a photograph so that it can be explored using oil, acrylic and watercolor until he discovers which medium brings out organic feeling of the work. Micheal says he particularly loves the sweet smell and feel of the oil as he works with a painting. |
