Fish House Designs

The title "Fish House Designs" evolved from the last name of the original owner’s of my 1830's antique house on 6A in historic Sandwich, Ma. where I have my art studio; Nathaniel and Mary Fish.

Creative Floor Cloths inspired by "batik" fabrics & gifts from nature, using a variety of tools and applications, Donna Claytor explores color, design, glazing techniques, layering & paint manipulation to make one-of-kind beautiful, durable and creative floor cloths. Also great for framing!

Each and every floor cloth is a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Acrylic paint is applied in layers on heavy canvas. They take 15 to 20 hours to complete. Designs and colors are different per canvas so, no two are identical. The floor cloth is then sealed with a protective poly-acrylic gloss finish that allows them to last for years.
