The art of the decorated egg in Ukraine, or the pysanka, dates back to ancient times. Today, pysanky are made at Easter time by Ukrainians around the world, but they are also great for decorating your Christmas tree, or in bowls around the house.

Each ornament is painstakingly decorated in beeswax and dyed with vibrant dyes several times to produce extraordinary and colorful ornaments. Several coats of lacquer  protect the eggs, ensuring the beautiful colors last for years.  Vicki uses some age-old patterns and creates original designs.
